A new teaser trailer of “Better Call Saul” Season 5 has been released online. The video shows Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) in trouble once again, as he continues to go down a dark path that introduces him to criminals and drug dealers.

After teasing his new name that Jimmy will be using going forward, the new teaser trailer shows the lawyer being forcibly taken in a car. Sitting in the backseat, he has no means of escape because the locks on the doors have been removed.

The man taking Jimmy has a gun that is clearly visible to the lawyer through the gap in between the seats. The song “I’ve got murder on my mind” plays in the car, giving the fans an idea of the trouble the lawyer is in. Jimmy appears to be tempted to use the gun on the driver, but he manages to restrain himself in the video.

Commenting on the teaser trailer, Odenkirk took to Twitter to call it his character’s “joyride.” It remains to be seen who has abducted Jimmy, and where he will be taken in “Better Call Saul” Season 5.

While Jimmy starts rubbing shoulders with criminals and petty thieves, his partner Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) will be on a journey of her own. A picture of the character in a blue suit at a New Mexico courthouse has been released online.

Commenting on the post, Seehorn said that her character looks “pensive.” “Whatever could you be thinking about???” she added.

Howard Hamlin actor Patrick Fabian also commented on the picture and said that Kim could have chosen a better suit.

“Better Call Saul” Season 5 is set to be released on Feb. 23, 2020. The show will take Jimmy one step closer to the events in the main “Breaking Bad” TV series.
