Betty White to pull pranks through her own television show
Everyone seems to be latching onto Betty White's popularity. The 89-year-old actress is launching a new hidden-camera TV show on NBC.
The show will be called Betty White's Off Their Rockers. The show will feature senior citizens playing pranks on unsuspecting young women and men.
People have been telling me that I'm 'off my rocker' for years - now I can prove it, White said.
Radar Online is reporting that White has agreed to 12 episodes.
NBC's EVP of Alternative Programming, Paul Telegdy, said White is a comedic genius who escalates hilarity in any situation. Viewers will thoroughly enjoy watching her pull one over on the unsuspecting youth of America.
Betty White's Off Their Rockers is based on the European television show Benidorm Bastards and it will feature White, along with six other seniors, coordinating the show's pranks.
The former Golden Girls star has had a big year as she hosted a very popular episode of Saturday Night Live for which she won an Emmy and also appeared in a Super Bowl ad.
It is not known yet when the show will premiere.
