Beyonce Dresses to Prove Baby Bump is Real (Photo)
After suspicions that Beyonce appeared for an interview on Australia's Sunday Night television program with a fake baby bump, she is now out to prove her point.
On the interview, her baby bump appeared to fold in on itself beneath her pink dress as she bent down to sit. After the mysterious fold, the Web was on fire with speculations that Beyonce is not really pregnant and that she is wearing a prosthesis for some extra attention and publicity.
How is she proving herself? Simply by slipping into a maternity top.
The 30-year-old singer was photographed when she stepped out on a rainy Thursday in New York, wearing a flowing snakeskin blouse which she teamed with black jeans, hat and vertiginous buckled boot heels, according to the Daily Mail. Click here to see the pictures.
She certainly is not expected to wear such high heels at the time of pregnancy, but the Run the World star probably chose style before comfort.
The R&B queen announced her pregnancy in August at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. The pregnancy news shocked her fans because the couple is known for keeping a low profile in public.
When Beyonce announced her pregnancy, a top industry insider said that she fooled the world by wearing a fake belly on the day of the award show. She wore a prosthetic belly to make the announcement seem more dramatic, the insider said.
According to the insider, Beyonce was less than eight weeks pregnant at the VMAs. The accusations started when fans began to notice the Baby Boy singer's seemingly flat stomach just a week before.
Her representatives had promply dismissed the reports as stupid, ridiculous and false, but not before footage of her sporting an apparent squished bump on Australian TV became a YouTube hit, the report said.
The speculations have risen to the level of triggering theories that while Beyonce is sporting a fake baby bump, a surrogate mother is actually carrying her baby.
