Beyoncé Fake Baby Bump Rumors are ‘Stupid,’ Says Rep [VIDEO]
Beyoncé Knowles and her baby bump are not getting a break from gossipmongers and critics alike.
Since appearing on the Australian talk show Sunday Night, Knowles' baby bump has been called fake, with rumors suggesting that the 30-year-old singer is actually wearing a prosthetic.
Reports of the belly being fake are stupid, ridiculous and false, Knowles' publicist Yvette Noel-Schure told ABC News on Tuesday.
Wearing a belly hugging red dress on the talk show, Knowles glows in baby joy, except for the few seconds when her stomach appears to be collapsing inward.
The new rumor further fuels speculation that the singer and her husband Jay-Z are using the services of a surrogate to carry their baby, according to TMZ.
Twitter has also been buzzing with the hashtag #fakebabybump since the video of the interview went viral.
It was on Sunday Night that Knowles announced her February due date. The former Destiny's Child singer also talked about her new lease on life.
My husband and I have been together for 10 years - all of my 20s - and I just feel like it's time and I'm very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift any human being can have . . . If it's any time, right now is the time, and I'm so happy, she said on the show.
Knowles, who has sold more than 75 million records worldwide, first announced her pregnancy in August on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet. The Single Ladies singer even went on to perform on stage, rubbing her belly to a roaring crowd.
Her latest album, 4 has released three singles, including the hit Run the World (Girls).
The February baby will be the first child for Knowles and Jay-Z.
