Beyonce gave up her time to give an acceptance speech at the MTV VMA's Sunday night to allow singer Taylor Swift end her own speech which earlier was spoiled by an abrupt interruption of rapper Kanye West.

The night was overshadowed by an incident caused by Kanye West when Swift, 19 was awarded the Best Female Video of the year. When she came on stage to deliver an acceptance speech, West jumped to the stage, snatched the microphone from her and claimed Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.

Later on, when Beyonce received the award for Best Video of the year for Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) she called Swift to come to the stage and finish her speech.

I would like Taylor to come out and have her moment, Beyonce said, following by applauses and cheers from the crowd.
