Beyoncé And Jay Z Enjoy Date Night At Ed Sheeran Concert [Video]
Beyoncé and Jay Z enjoyed a date night Sunday, sitting in the front row at Ed Sheeran’s concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The power couple stayed close to each other during the concert and seemed to enjoy the musical evening to the fullest. The pop queen was a picture of casual chic in a denim button-up with beachy blond waves.
Her rapper husband Jay Z rocked a camouflage jacket accessorized with a stylish black hat. The couple appeared more crazy in love than ever, dancing and singing to Sheeran’s soulful tunes, according to a Twitter user. Another concertgoer snapped the picture of the couple that was shared on a Beyoncé fan page on Instagram, according to E! Online.
“Tonight I breathed the same air as Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, and Jay Z. ... I feel as if I've died and this is heaven,” one Twitter user posted. Another member of the Beygency shared a similar sentiment: “beyoncé and jay z jamming out to ed sheeran was something i thought i never needed to see in my life until right now.” After the concert was over, Beyoncé and Jay had a low-key night out with the British rocker.
The couple and Sheeran hit his favorite pub, Houndstooth, in Midtown after the concert. The trio partied until 3:30 a.m. with a small group of Sheeran’s friends and his manager. The Brit crooner even broke into an impromptu acoustic performance, which included a cover of Jay Z’s “Empire State of Mind.”
On NBC's “Tonight Show” Monday night, the singer gave the details of his jamming session with the musical power couple. Sheeran admitted that he had pizza and did some alcohol shots with Bey and Jay. He told Jimmy Fallon that he grew up listening to Beyoncé and Jay Z and suddenly they were in front of him. The British crooner didn’t know what to do and asked the couple if they would go to a dive bar that was owned by his friend. And so they turned up at the place, where there was folk jamming going on and so they also got into the mood and jammed.
