Beyonce And Jay Z Reportedly Give $6.4 Million In Bonuses To Employees
Beyonce and Jay Z may be one of the most generous couples in Hollywood after reportedly giving their staff $6.4 million in bonuses. The pair has a full-time staff of 80 employees for the three homes they own in addition to staff at Jay Z’s 40/40 clubs.
“He’s spreading the wealth around and everyone is blown away… Nobody got left out. A lot of them couldn’t believe it and phoned his personal assistant to check that there hadn’t been some mistake,” a source told the Daily Star about the 43-year-old entrepreneur.
The couple has been very giving lately, reportedly spending $10,000 on gifts for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s daughter North when she was born June 15. The items included personalized Christian Dior baby booties and a three-piece sterling silver Elsa Peretti Padova baby set with her name on it.
Beyonce and Jay Z certainly can afford to spend so much on employees and friends. The 31-year-old is raking in millions from her “Mrs. Carter” show tour. The Daily Star reports that Beyonce is set to earn about $116 million from the world tour.
She's also making millions as the new face of H&M.
Meanwhile, Jay Z has earned millions as co-owner of the 40/40 club, which has two locations in New York. The Grammy-winning hip-hop artist also recently sold his stake in the NBA Brooklyn Nets to avoid a potential conflict of interest and extend his Roc Nation Sports representation business into basketball, according to Yahoo Sports. His latest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, is also topping music charts.
