It was a jaw-dropping surprise for admirers and fans when Beyonce walked on the Red carpet with her cute baby bump at MTV's Video Music Awards on Sunday. She dint have to utter a word to declare that she is expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z.

I'm happy to say it's true, the 29-year-old singer's representative told PEOPLE.

At the end of her stage performance, the diva rubbed her baby bump, after performing Love on top, flashing a beautiful smile and her pregnancy became one of the most widely discussed topics at the Video Music Awards of 2011, apart from Lady Gaga's drag act and Amy Winehouse's tribute, a BBC report stated.

Beyonce won the award for the Best Choreography for her Run the World (Girls) hit.
