In her interview with the magazine, the superstar said she has seen a change in herself over the past several months due to the coronavirus pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement.
"[I've] absolutely changed [this year]. It would be difficult to experience life in a pandemic and the current social unrest and not be changed," Beyoncé told British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful.
The 39-year-old singer also shared the new goal she has set for herself.
"I have learnt that my voice is clearer when I am still. I truly cherish this time with my family, and my new goal is to slow down and shed stressful things from my life," she revealed.
Beyoncé said that she has been putting out projects non-stop since entering the music industry at 15 years old. Since dropping "Lemonade" in 2016 during her "Formation" world tour, the singer "gave birth to twins, performed at Coachella, directed Homecoming, went on another world tour with [Jay-Z], then 'Black Is King.'"
"It’s been heavy and hectic. I’ve spent a lot of time focusing on building my legacy and representing my culture the best way I know how. Now, I’ve decided to give myself permission to focus on my joy," she said.
Beyoncé also shared her three covers for British Vogue on Instagram which received praise from fans.
The December issue of the magazine will be released on Nov. 6.
