Beyonce Rings In New Year With Big Hair And An Intimate Performance At Wynn Las Vegas [PHOTOS]

Beyoncé performed at Wynn Las Vegas to ring in the New Year for a lucky audience of 700.

Wearing huge blond curls and various sequined outfits, the 16-time Grammy winner looked great as she performed some of her hits during the two-hour set. Beyoncé reportedly made $4 million for the private show.

This is not the first time Beyoncé has held an intimate concert at the Wynn Resorts. She first performed there for four nights in 2009 for a small audience after the release of her third studio album, "I Am ... Sasha Fierce." Thanks to the success of that show, she was asked to become a residency act.

Beyonce is next set to perform at the Super Bowl in February, and it is expected she will have new music for her half-time performance.

While she was performing in Vegas, her husband, Jay-Z, rang in the New Year with a concert of his own, performing at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn alongside Coldplay. This was the second time in three years that Coldplay has celebrated the New Year with Jay-Z, as they performed together at a Las Vegas concert in 2010.

More recently, Jay-Z performed onstage with Coldplay at the London 2012 Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony.

Coldplay’s lead vocalitst, Chris Martin, knows Jay-Z very well, as their wives, Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce, are best friends.
