Beyonce’s Baby: Sister Solange Tweets Singer is Still Pregnant; ‘News’ of Delivering a Girl is Fake
American singer Beyonce Knowles is still pregnant.
In response to truckloads of rumors surfacing about her delivery, her sister, Solange Knowles, finally clarified the situation with a tweet.
Shout out to my sister for being the cutest pregnant woman ever!, she wrote on Twitter.
Her post made it quite clear the baby is yet to arrive and news of Beyonce giving birth to a girl and naming her Tiana-May Carter was untrue. Solange was recently seen in New York - along with her mother, Tina, and her son, Julez. Their frequent appearances in the city added much weight to Beyonce's delivery rumors.
Meanwhile, if another set of rumors are to be believed, the baby is set to arrive on Jan. 4, at a secret location not disclosed to any media organization.
Beyonce was earlier seen dining at the Buttermilk Channel restaurant in Brooklyn, at a New Year's Eve party along with her husband Jay Z, and was looking enormously pregnant, a source told People magazine.
She was definitely a pregnant lady that night. They sat side by side and had a cozy and intimate dinner. They seemed to be having a lovely time, the source said, adding, She looked amazing. She wore sky-high heels. It was really impressive for an enormously pregnant woman.
The rumors of the delivery began spreading last week... and said the singer had given birth to a girl at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York. The news was not confirmed, either by the couple or their representatives. Later, a second rumor surfaced... that Beyonce had named her daughter Tiana-May Carter.
These rumors were built on certain random observation of nurses at the hospital, who were reportedly buzzing about the fact the couple had booked a private suite for the delivery. Predictably, the news of what is probably one of the most anticipated baby births in recent times went viral on the Web in no time.
Beyonce's pregnancy was the one of the most hyped pieces of celebrity news in 2011, with Twitter registering more than 9,000 tweets per second, following her announcement at MTV's Video Music Awards.
