Beyoncé recently launched a personal tumblr blog which features photos, videos, music, and the possible origin of baby Blue Ivy's name.

The explanation comes via a video of a still pregnant Beyoncé on vacation in Croatia with her husband Jay-Z.

Standing underneath a majestic Blue Ivy tree, she says, We woke up this morning and took a nice little walk and passed by this beautiful blue tree. I think it's Blue Ivy, which will be quite appropriate.

Reports suggest this may have been the origin of baby Blue Ivy's name.

Her tumblr features pictures of her life with her husband, sister, and others. In chronicles her life on the road and preparing for her tours around the world.

The caption I Am... This is my life, today, over the years -- through my eyes. My family, my travels, my love. This is where I share with you, This will continue to grow as I do is displayed prominently throughout the site.

The songstress has also begun tweeting at handle @Beyoncé. She has already amassed nearly 4 million followers despite only tweeting once.
