The British Film Institute London Film Festival, known simply as the BFI London Film Festival is an annual film festival held in the United Kingdom, running in the second half of October with cooperation from the British Film Institute. It screens more than 300 films, documentaries and shorts from approximately 50 countries.
This year for the 60th festival, standout films included "By The Sea" and "Moonlight."
There certainly were some major fashion standouts on the red carpet as well. From Amy Adam's elegant Valentino gown to Lupita Nyongo's chic Rosie Assoulin separates, check out the best-dressed stars at the 60th BFI London Film Festival in the slide show above.
For the premiere of "Arrival," the redheaded Amy Adams channeled her inner goddess in a Valentino Spring 2016 Couture white halter gown with a draped, cut-out shoulder detail, a deep V-neckline and a printed hem.

For the LFF Connects Television "Black Mirror" screening during the festival, Ron Howard's talented daughter Bryce Dallas Howard hit the red carpet in Self Portrait's "Prairie" floral cut-out lace embroidered midi-length dress which featured short-sleeves, a nipped solid grosgrain waistband and a subtle flare skirt. She completed the look with Stuart Weitzman "Nudist" sandals.

At the "By the Sea" premiere, former "Dawson's Creek" babe Michelle Williams walked the red carpet in a hot off the runway Louis Vuitton Spring 2017 look that included a shimmery multicolored snakeskin strapless dress, yellow snakeskin sandals and a LV box clutch.

While promoting "Queen of Katwe," Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o made a bold statement in a Rosie Assoulin Resort 2017 ensemble that featured a multicolored stripe crop top and pale blue high-waisted, wide-leg cuff trousers with a matching belt. She also added Rebecca de Ravenel "Les Bonbons" earrings.

While promoting her film "The Birth of a Nation," Gabrielle Union was ever-so elegant in a Zuhair Murad Fall 2016 ball gown, featuring a burgundy stretch velvet deep-V halter top and a flared jacquard inverted pleat skirt in black and gold bursting with butterflies.
