Biden Press Conference Live Stream: Watch President Address Reporters From White House
President Joe Biden is holding his first press conference since taking office. The news conference was slated to start after 1:15 p.m. ET in the East Room of the White House.
It's an early test of his public relations skills on the heels of a week that contained two separate mass shootings. Biden has been advocating for stronger gun control laws since the tragedies. He will also likely face questions about his $1.9 trillion relief package and a new wave of migrants at the southern border.
The conference will be streamed on most news outlets.

Biden on unaccompanied minors: Over 70% are either 16 or 17 years old. We're not talking about "ripping babies" from arms or little three year olds standing on the border. Less than -- I think it's one and a half percent -- fall in the category of the very young.

Asked if his presidency can be a success without progress on climate change, immigration reform, gun control: “I plan on making progress on all of them.” pic.twitter.com/0cAlXN7Ea2
Biden blames Trump for border problems. "He dismantled all the elements that exist to deal with what had been a problem, and has been continuing to be a problem for a long time..What we're doing now is attempting to rebuild the system that can accommodate what is happening today"
