‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 10 Spoilers: Episode 4 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘The Cohabitation Experimentation’?
“The Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 4 will see Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) moving in together.
In “The Cohabitation Experimentation,” Amy will ask Sheldon if she could live with him after her apartment gets flooded. Sheldon will agree to their new living arrangement, but it’s very obvious that he’s not as happy with the idea. The teaser for episode 4 also confirms that not only will Amy stay in Sheldon’s apartment; she will also share a bedroom with her boyfriend.
“You and I are gonna be sharing a bed. How do you feel about that?” Amy asks Sheldon.
“Excited, concerned, scared, all of the same emotions I feel in line at Space Mountain,” he replies.
Meanwhile, Amy and Sheldon’s living arrangements will only be temporary. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Steve Molaro explained that Amy and Sheldon living together is only an experiment for the onscreen couple. “I don’t want to give away too much, but there are some big experiments in store for them and their relationship… I’m stressing the word experiment and it’s something that would they even consider it? Well, usually a good way to trick Sheldon into doing things is by framing it in terms of science,” he explained.
In other news, this isn’t the first milestone in Amy and Sheldon’s relationship in “The Big Bang Theory.” Last season, the couple engaged in their first sex after five years of being boyfriend and girlfriend. In “The Opening Night Excitation,” Sheldon received some advice from Professor Proton (Bob Newhart) on whether he should celebrate Amy's birthday or watch the latest “Star Wars” movie with his friends. Professor Proton encouraged him to go for the former. During their night out, Amy and Sheldon engaged in coitus. The latter couldn't help but say, “Well, I enjoyed that more than I thought I would.”
“The Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 4 will air on CBS on Monday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
