‘Big Bang Theory’ Season 10 Spoilers: Penny, Leonard To Break Up Before The Finale?
“Big Bang Theory” will soon wrap up its 10th season, and big changes are expected to happen in lives of Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki).
In episode 22, titled “The Cognition Regeneration,” Penny’s ex-boyfriend, Zack (Brian Thomas Smith), will resurface to offer Penny a job that she will not be able to refuse. Penny’s husband, Leonard, will not be very pleased with the idea that his wife and her ex-boyfriend will be spending a lot of time together.

To make things worse, executive producer Steve Molaro hinted that there’s a possibility Zack’s return could destroy Penny and Leonard’s marriage. While speaking with TV Line, the showrunner said that he doesn’t know whether or not Leonard thinks Penny will be unfaithful to him. But Raj (Kunal Nayyar) said something to the couple in the past that is making Leonard worry.
“Leonard is definitely uncomfortable with the thought of Penny going to work for her old boyfriend. I don’t know if he thinks she’ll be unfaithful, but according to Koothrappali, she’s gonna leave Leonard eventually – why not get it over with,” he said.
Meanwhile, an upcoming episode for “Big Bang Theory” will also see Raj leaving Penny and Leonard’s apartment. As of late, it is unclear whether or not it is Raj and Leonard that will actually have a misunderstanding over Penny and Zack’s professional relationship. But according to Molaro, Raj will end up in a place that is even less glamorous than Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) old bedroom.
In other news, “Big Bang Theory” Season 10 will have a total of 24 episodes. If episode 22 is centered on Penny and Leonard’s marriage, episode 24 will be all about Sheldon and Amy’s (Mayim Bialik) relationship. The installment, whose title has yet to be announced, will see the return of Sheldon’s admirer, Ramona (Riki Lindhome).
“Big Bang Theory” Season 10 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
