'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Spoilers: Episode 10 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In 'The Earworm Reverberation'? [VIDEO]
When "The Big Bang Theory" last dropped a new episode on Nov. 19, fans thought the moment they had been waiting for had arrived when Amy (Mayim Bialik) suggested that it was time she and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) to get back together after their long breakup. However, Sheldon shocked the world when he turned her down. Will he change his mind in Season 9, episode 10, "The Earworm Reverberation"?
According to the synopsis for the new episode, Sheldon hears a song on the radio -- fans will have to wait to hear what song that may be -- that inspires him to have a bit of a change of a heart about Amy. In episode 9, Amy gave Sheldon a call after their Thanksgiving aquarium trip. Sheldon picks up right in the middle of telling Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) how much of a relief it is to have a healthy, platonic relationship with his ex-girlfriend, but Amy had other plans.
"I really enjoyed spending this morning with you," Amy says. "I was thinking that maybe I'm ready to be your girlfriend again."
“Amy, I excel at many things," Sheldon replies, "But getting over you wasn't one of them. I think I need to be your friend.”
Ouch! Well, it looks like Sheldon comes to his senses in episode 10, but the synopsis teases that Amy is back to dating after her rejection. A promo photo from the episode (shown above) reveals that she will even be giving Dave (guest star Stephen Merchant) another shot. Do not worry though, because the promo makes no bones about it -- Sheldon and Amy are getting back together! The teaser video shows the beleaguered couple happily kissing after reuniting. "Shamy" shippers can finally breathe easy.
Plus, the synopsis also reveals that Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Howard (Simon Helberg) go on a quest to find the only fan of their band, Footprints on the Moon.
