‘Big Bang Theory’ Star Johnny Galecki’s Home Burns Down In Massive California Fire
Johnny Galecki’s estate in California was burned to the ground.
On Monday night, a huge fire spreae in San Luis Obispo, burning down the ranch owned by the “Big Bang Theory” star, TMZ reported. It was torched along with other properties affected by the 1,200-acre fire. The area has already been secured, but no one is allowed to enter at the moment. The road is also closed.
The estate, located 190 miles from Los Angeles, was Galecki’s getaway home. The “Sadako 3D” actor has not seen the property since it burned down. He reportedly plans to visit the site when things are all clear, so he can salvage anything that was spared.

According to the actor, they have already experienced rebuilding in the past, and they will be doing it again together. The process will make their community closer and stronger. “My heart goes out to all in the area who are also experiencing loss from this vicious fire, the threat of which we live with constantly, which may seem crazy to some, but we do so because living in our beautiful, rural area makes it worthwhile,” Galecki said of the fire. “It’s never the structures that create a community – it’s the people. And if the people of Santa Margarita have taught me anything it’s that, once the smoke has cleared, literally and figuratively, it’s a time to reach out and rebuild.”
Galecki also thanked the fire department and the sheriff’s office for their prompt response during the fire. “Endless thanks to CalFire and the Sheriff’s Office. I know you guys are fighting the good fight to keep us safe. So very relieved no one has been hurt,” said the actor.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Galecki was spotted with his niece at a music festival. He even shared a photo of him carrying his niece on Instagram. “When your niece comes to watch you play from the wings at a 30,000 crowd festival and is more excited about her laminate. #family,” he wrote in the caption.
In another Instagram post, he shared a clip of himself playing the drums and revealed in the post that he had fun. “Had such a blast with all 7,000 of you in Lansing, MI last night! Playing a @randyhouser new song, and my current favorite #youshouldbemine Thanks for having me, @bigrightfoot #tasteofcountry,” the caption read.
