After weeks of promising Alex Ow that he’d take her to the final two, Paul had to tell Alex the truth about her position in the house this week, according to Big Brother Network.
Since Josh Martinez is the Head of Household (HOH), he decided to put Alex and Kevin Schlehuber up for eviction. Alex, who has been very loyal to Paul throughout the entire season, automatically assumed that Paul would vote to keep her in the game. Unfortunately, Paul has another plan in mind.
During his conversation with Alex, Paul explained that if he voted to keep her safe, the houseguests would realize that he’s not being loyal to this week’s HOH or Josh’s alliance, Christmas Abbott. Paul still needs both of them to make it to the final three or final two so he can’t go against their wishes.
Paul also told Alex that Josh and Christmas are worried that keeping her in the game will lessen their chances at winning the $500,000 grand prize. But keeping Paul in the game would also be detrimental to Josh or Christmas’ possible win. The returning vet simply told Alex that he will try to campaign to Christmas and Josh that they should keep her instead of Kevin. But this won’t happen.
On Wednesday night’s special eviction episode, the remaining houseguests will be saying goodbye to Alex. The professional gamer “wasted an entire season” just following Paul’s orders. In the beginning, Alex made it seem as though she had everything figured out. She made strategic moves, tried to get rid of Cody Nickson and won multiple HOHs and POVs. But ever since she made it known that she and Paul were aligned to each other, things changed drastically.
A similar thing happened to her “ride or die,” Jason Dent. He was sent home last week after he worked for Paul throughout the entire summer.
“Big Brother” Season 19 will return to CBS on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT.
