After Cody Nickson returned to the house, his girlfriend, Jessica Graf, became emotional. But she appeared to be inspired by his comeback, so much so that she managed to become this week’s Head of Household (HOH), according to Big Brother Network. This win guarantees not only Jessica and Cody’s safety, but it also proves that things can turn around very quickly inside the “Big Brother” household.

On Thursday, Jessica received the third and last Den of Temptation privilege, which was the Halting Hex. This will give her the power to halt any one of the four upcoming live eviction ceremonies. Despite being nominated last week, Jessica decided not to use the Halting Hex because Dominique Cooper was the target, and the latter was ultimately sent home.
After the HOH competition, Jessica was tasked to nominate two houseguests. She took the opportunity to put Josh Martinez and Ramses Soto on the block. Prior to last week’s live eviction, Jessica and Josh had a heated argument by the pool. Ramses, on the other hand, doesn’t have a close relationship with Jessica.
By the looks of it, Jessica didn’t want to rock the boat too much this week, especially since she and Cody are back in the game. But it has become evident that the 26-year-old is a competitor. Initially, Cody wanted to take Paul Abrahamian out, and even though he still wants to target him, Jessica knows better than to make their plan obvious this early in the game.
According to host Julie Chen, Paul has a very strong social game. But the returning houseguest has also been playing everyone in the house. He has manipulated Alex Ow all throughout her HOH reign and dictated who she should put up on the block. Now that Cody is back in the game and Jessica has all the power in the house, how will things play out in the competition?
“Big Brother” Season 19 will return to CBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT.
