After the houseguests participated in the foot race, Christmas surprisingly won despite her broken foot. According to Big Brother Network, this was because the remaining houseguests threw the competition at her. The publication is also speculating on why the houseguests threw the competition at Christmas when the doctors clearly told her that she still can’t put any weight on her broken foot.
Christmas becoming this week’s HOH is something that could benefit Josh Martinez and Paul Abrahamian. Josh is Christmas’ strongest ally, but they are also working with the returning vet. However, Christmas and Josh are unaware of the fact that Paul has aligned himself with the other houseguests except for Kevin Schlehuber. This means that regardless of who becomes HOH, he is safe from nomination.
Last week, the houseguests decided to target the final showmance in the house. Matt Clines was evicted on Thursday night, and Raven Walton was nominated last week during Jason Dent’s HOH reign. But their third target is Kevin. The stay-at-home-dad has never been nominated this season, but it seems that he will be sitting on the block on Sunday night.
It has been clear that everyone wants Raven out, but this does not mean that Kevin is safe. Jason could also be in danger because he decided to stir the pot by not putting Kevin as pawn and destroying the pact he made with Alex Ow and the other houseguests.
Christmas and Alex had a conversation about Jason and Kevin, and they the circuit trainer could prioritize putting the two male houseguests over Ravan since they are bigger threats. However, anything can still happen in the “Big Brother” household, and another Power of Veto (POV) competition is up for grabs. The Tree of Temptation will also return sometime this week, and one houseguest may benefit from it.
“Big Brother” Season 19 will return to CBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT.
