Fans of the “Bill & Ted” franchise finally have a chance at making an excellent mark in the film’s history. A contest was put up by the movie outfit, which asked participants to rock out. The winner will get a chance to appear in the latest movie featuring the "Wyld Stallyns."

There's also a new website for the fans of the cult classic where they can update and socialize. According to Hollywood Reporter, the website invited fans to make short videos of them playing along to a demo track. Using either real or demo instruments, the lucky fans will be chosen by producers to take part in the movie.

Participants are encouraged to find the “most interesting setting” from where to shoot, but they must keep copyrighted materials out of the scene. The clips should be kept at 30 seconds long, and the audio on each video will not be present. Unfortunately, only fans from the U.S. and the U.K. can enter the contest.

Ed Solomon, returning co-writer for “Bill & Ted: Face the Music,” has been active on Twitter. He revealed that there’s a trailer dropping soon for fans of the movie. It was also Solomon who revealed that the movie will feature fans in a cameo role, Comic Book reported.

There are no clear details yet about the movie, but early looks at the synopsis said that Bill and Ted — now aging past middle age, with no clear identity as the rock stars they were supposed to be in the original movie — reunite with their daughters and have to figure out how to do music once again. It is expected that they will travel through time once more, in the trademark phone booth.

Actors Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves will reprise their roles as Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted “Theodore” Logan, respectively — the roles that made them cult favorites. Joining them are Samara Weaving, Kristen Schaal, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Anthony Carrigan, Jayma Mays, Erinn Hayes, Holland Taylor, Jillian Bell, William Sadler, Beck Bennet, Amy Stoch, Hal Landon Jr. and Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi).
