Thirty percent of all billionaires are living in one of 20 cities, according to Wealth-X and UBS’ Billionaire Census 2013.
New York City remained the top city for billionaires, with 96 of the world's richest individuals based there.
Including New York, five of the top 20 cities of the world for billionaires were in North America. However, no region has more billionaire-populated cities than Asia, which has eight.
By country, however, United States took the top spot, with three times as many billionaires as China, the country with the second-largest population of billionaires.
