Is Billy Ray Cyrus Engaged To Singer Firerose? Couple's New Photo Seemingly Confirms Rumor
Billy Ray Cyrus may have just confirmed his engagement to singer Firerose. A photo shared by the pair shows Firerose donning a large diamond ring, sparking speculations that they might be getting married soon.
The photo shows the "New Day" singer snuggling up to Cyrus as they stood in front of a tree with orange foliage, showing off a ring on her finger. "Happy Autumn," they captioned the pic.
While the pair has yet to confirm their engagement, the new photo seems to confirm the rumors, which surfaced in September after Firerose was spotted with a huge diamond ring during an outing. Around that time, the country singer also posted a series of Instagram photos, showing herself posing behind a wagon wheel with a diamond ring. "Taking in the moment," she had captioned the post.
The latest photo of Cyrus and Firerose comes nearly six months after the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer's wife, Trish, filed for divorce in April. Court documents revealed the couple had been living separately for more than two years at the time of the divorce filing.
In a joint statement to People, the couple announced their divorce and revealed the decision was not easy.
"It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways — not with sadness, but with love in our hearts. We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths," they said.
"We will always be family and look forward to a continued and loving shared experience as friends and parents. We have not come to this decision lightly or quickly but with so much going on in the world, we wanted to provide some clarity and closure, so we can remain focused on what is important," they added.
The pair had gone their separate ways three times during their marriage. They tied the knot in 1993 and share five children: Miley, Brandi, Noah, Trace and Braison.
