Billy Ray Cyrus Says Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Are ‘So Happy’ Together

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are back together and happier than ever. The pop star’s parents have seen the joy her beau brings her, and they can’t get enough of it.

Billy Ray Cyrus opened up about his daughter’s relationship in an interview with ET Online. He revealed that Miley, 24, and Hemsworth regularly visit Nashville, where Billy Ray and his family live, to enjoy “the outdoors” and the kind people. The “Malibu” singer’s father said that Miley and the “Independance Day: Resurgence” star are very much in love, which brings him great joy.

“I just love seeing her so happy,” he told ET Online.

Miley and Hemsworth certainly appear to be enjoying their time together. In April, the couple was spotted out for a walk together in Los Angeles. According to People magazine, they were joined by their dogs for the outing.

Their joy has given way to rumors about the status of their relationship. While fans know Miley and the actor are back together, some thought they may have secretly tied the knot. Billy Ray, 55, reacted to those claims on Instagram, putting false claims to bed once and for all.

Rumors of a secret wedding began swirling after a photo of Miley sporting a white gown appeared online. After her father’s comments on the matter, the controversial songstress’ manager addressed it in a statement to Us Weekly. The brief comment revealed that the photo was simply a “great” picture of Miley wearing a white dress — nothing more.

“[It was] just some great photos that happen to have been taken in a white dress,” the statement to Us said.

At the time, Miley and Hemsworth had been spending more and more time together and been increasingly public about their relationship. The couple shared photos from their unique Valentine’s day date, with the Australian actor posting a photo of him and Miley together at the beach with their dogs.

One month prior, the award winning musician posted a heartfelt birthday wish for her beau. Posting a photo of herself and the actor together, Miley wrote that he was her “favorite being EVER EVER EVER!” The singer referred to her future husband as a “best friend,” adding that she was elated to be raising pets with him.

At that time, the “SONG” singer and Hemsworth had been spending a significant amount of time together. They celebrated New Year’s Eve together, engaging in a little public PDA. Cyrus posted a photo of one of their first kisses of 2017 on Instagram.

Fans were quick to react in the comments section. One follower wrote that they were near tears, adding that they were “both jealous and happy for you babes.” Another wished the happy couple a joyous New Year, calling them the “best couple of [SIC] the whole universe.”

Miley and Hemsworth originally started dating in 2009 after meeting on the set of “The Last Song.” They didn’t make their romance official until March 2010 when they appeared on a red carpet together. Years later, in June 2012, they announced their engagement.

They broke up in September of the following year. Miley and Hemsworth rekindled their romance in early 2016. They’ve been going strong since.
