The 2019 version of "Black Christmas" premiere on Friday, Dec. 13. Universal Pictures

"Black Christmas" is about to make a comeback. The film originally debuted in 1974 and was then remade in 2006. Now, a 2019 version from Blumhouse Productions, which was initially announced in June, is set premiere later this month. Here's where you can watch the other versions before checking out the newest remake.

The 1974 version of "Black Christmas" tells the story of a group of sorority sisters who are stalked during Christmas break. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the killer "terrorizes the women by making threatening phone calls." Eventually, they realize that the killer may be inside the house. This is the plot that the 2006 version also followed, which featured "Mean Girls" actress Lacey Chabert as Dana, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Michelle Trachtenberg as Melissa, and others.

For those who are interested in watching the original, it can be found in several places. Although it does not appear to be on any streaming services at the moment, you can rent it from various sites, including Amazon Prime Video. YouTube and iTunes also offer it for rent for $2.99 and $3.99, respectively.

The 2006 version can be found in the same aforementioned places. Renting it from iTunes or Amazon Prime Video will cost $3.99. You can also purchase it on various platforms, including YouTube and iTunes for $12.99. (YouTube also offers a $9.99 standard definition version to buy.)

As for what fans can expect from the 2019 offering, director Sophia Takal spoke to Entertainment Weekly in November to give a bit of sneak peek. In that interview, she shared that she views her new project as "fiercely feminist" as she attempted to stray away from the idea of "disposable female characters."

"Black Christmas" will open in theaters on Friday, Dec. 13.
