Captain Yami is set to train with Mereoleona in "Black Clover" Episode 156. Meanwhile, Asta and his friends are in the Heart Kingdom for the special training with the Spirit Guardians.

After Asta and other Magic Knights head to the Heart Kingdom, the Black Bulls' hideout is quiet. The preview trailer for "Black Clover" Episode 156 shows Captain Yami and Mereoleona. It will be interesting for the two training together.

Twitter user Nitebaron shared the synopsis for the upcoming episode, teasing that Captain Yami wants to learn how to control the mana zone like Mereoleona. Episode 156 is titled "Awakening Powers."

"While Asta and the rest are busy with their special training in the Heart Kingdom, back in the Clover Kingdom, Captain Yami has asked Mereoleona for combat training. They begin immediately, but even Captain Yami can't quite reach Mereoleona with his attacks, as she has the ability to control mana in the surrounding area with her mana zone.

"As everyone is looking for ways to become stronger for the upcoming battles, the threat of the Spade Kingdom which uses the power of devils to invade other countries is imminent," the summary read, as tweeted by Nitebaron.

In the previous episode, Asta and the others from the Black Bulls reach the Heart Kingdom for their special training ahead of the battle with the Spade Kingdom.

Gaja welcomes the candidates and takes them to Queen Lolopechka. The candidates learn that the Spade Kingdom has conquered several bases in the Diamond Kingdom.

Later, they meet their trainers who are the Spirit Guardians. Charlotte and Mimosa will train with Sarado first. Finral is asked to learn the tricks from Smurik. Potrof will be Rill's mentor while Magna and Leopold will be under Floga's care. Gaja will be training Luck. Meanwhile, Asta is excited to know about his trainer.

However, he doesn't have any mana, and Spirit Guardians tell him that they cannot help him grow mana from anything. Asta is disappointed as he would like to train like other Knights.
