Black Friday 2018: Best Tech Deals At Walmart

It’s official! Walmart (WMT) has released it 2018 Black Friday ad. As expected, there are plenty of tech deals that will have consumers lining up Thanksgiving Day. Deals from the retail giant include plenty of TVs, laptops, smartphones, gaming systems, and so much more.

TVs

Right of the gate, Walmart will offer 65-inch Class 4K Roku Smart TVs for the low price of $398. Other 4K models for sale include the Samsung 55" Class 4K Smart TV for $398 or the larger VIZIO 60" Class 4K Smart TV for $498. Looking for something a little smaller? You’ll want to pick up a Samsung 32-inch Class Smart TV for $178.

Computers

As you make your way through the electronics department, you’ll run into laptops galore from RCA, Samsung, and HP. At the low-price end of the spectrum is the RCA Cambio 2-in-1 Notebook/Tablet for $89 and the Samsung Chromebook 3 for $99. If you are looking for a little more capability, you’ll want to cash in on the HP Stream 11 Notebook for $159 or the HP Pavilion x360 Notebook for $499.

iPads and tablets can also be found with the iPad 6 going for $249 – a savings of $80 off the retail price. Tablets include models from RCA and Samsung priced at $28 and $129, respectively.

Home Devices

What is also sure to be a popular gift this holiday is smart home devices including the Google Home Mini priced at $25 and the Google Mini and Chromecast Bundle for $45 that comes with a $15 VUDU credit.

Gaming

If you are looking to get your game on, you’ll want to pick up the Sony PS4 1TB Slim, which includes a Spider-Man game bundle. Price on the gaming system is $199. It is listed as a Walmart special buy, so it is anticipated that quantities will be slim and they will go fast. Also, on sale is the Xbox One S 1TB complete with the Minecraft Creators gaming bundle priced at $199 and Xbox One X 1TB console for $399.

Smartphones

Smartphones also make up a good portion of the sales flyer from Walmart with a solid offering of no contract deals, but you will need to purchase for a no-contract phone plan, most likely Straight Talk, to get these phones at the price offered.

iPhones deals include the 6S Plus, selling for $299, which is a $100 savings, the iPhone 6 priced at $99, and the $79 iPhone SE. The iPhone 6 is a special buy so you’ll need to get to stores early for this deal. LG smartphone deals include the LG Rebel 4, LG Xpression Plus, and LG Zone 4 models, priced at $39.88, $49, and $49, respectively.

For consumers looking to upgrade their smartphone with a newer generation, a gift card from Walmart is waiting for you. The retailer is offering the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, or X models with an up to $400 gift card for Walmart merchandise. iPhone Xs, Xs Max or X_R come with a $300 gift card for the store. Galaxy smartphones are also being offered with a $300 gift card for the S8, S8+, S9, S9+, and Note9 models. Both the iPhone and Galaxy smartphones must be purchased with a device payment plan from AT&T, Next, Sprint, or Verizon to get the gift card deal.

Plenty of smartphone accessories are also included in the Black Friday ad such as charging cables, cases, and power banks.

Walmart will open its doors on Thanksgiving Day at 6 p.m. Online deals start Nov. 21 at 10 p.m. EST.
