With Black Friday just days away, many shoppers are looking to score a deal on the must-have gifts of the season. Target (TGT) and Walmart (WMT) have released their 2019 Black Friday ads, promising a bevy of sales on tech products for the whole family. But which retailer offers the best deals? Here’s a look at whether Target and Walmart offer a better price.

Apple

Apple products are on everyone’s wish list with both Target and Walmart offering sales on may of these top products. The Apple AirPods with charging case is being offered at Walmart for $129, a significant decrease over Target’s $144.99 price. For the Apple AirPods Pro, shoppers may want to head to Target, which has them on sale for $249.99.

The Apple Watch Series 3 is on sale at Target for $169.99, but Walmart is selling it for $129, making it a sweeter deal. For iPad tablets, either Target or Walmart will be the best bet as both retailers have the iPad 7th generation with 32G storage capacity on sale for $249.

Apple iPhone deals are many at Target and Walmart. The iPhone 11 Pro Max, 11 Pro, or 11 is being offered at Target with a free $200 gift card with qualified activation. Walmart is offering a similar deal on the iPhone 11 Pro Max, 11 Pro, or 11 with a $300 e-gift card with qualified activation. An additional e-gift card up to $250 can be scored with a qualified smartphone trade-in.

TVs

All TVs at Target are on sale with doorbuster prices on several models. Walmart also is offering a slew of TV deals, including the 65-inch Vizio Class 4K Smart TV for $398. Target also has a 65-inch TV on sale with the TCL Roku Smart 4K UHD HDR TV, priced at $399.99.

Samsung TVs are on sale at both retailers, including the 50-inch Samsung Class 4K Smart TV on sale for $278 at Walmart and the 50-inch Samsung Smart UHD HDR TV on sale at Target for $279.99.

Laptops

For shoppers looking for a laptop this Black Friday, deals at both Target and Walmart are plenty. Walmart is offering the 11.6-inch Samsung Chromebook 3 for $99, while Target is offering a deal on 11.6-inch HP Chromebook for $99.99.

Smartphones

Smartphone deals at Walmart include a $450 e-gift card with the purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, or Note10+, and qualified activation. Target is offering a similar deal with a $400 gift card on the same smartphones and qualified activation. Walmart, however, is offering an additional e-gift card of up to $250 on a qualified smartphone trade-in.

Gaming Consoles

Gaming systems are also on sale at Target and Walmart during Black Friday. Deals include PlayStation PS4 bundle on sale at Target for $199.99. Walmart is selling the same PlayStation gaming system for $199. In addition, the Xbox One X 1TB Gears 5 bundle is on sale at Target for $349.99 and on sale at Walmart for $349 – a difference of $0.99.
