Computer users looking to upgrade their laptop for speed can also opt for a number of SSDs such as the 480GB PNY Optima for $159.99 after mail-in-rebate or the 256GB Crucial MX100 for $111.99.

For more portability a number of USB drives are on sale, including a 32GB HP USB 3.0 flash drive for $12.99 plus 99 cents for shipping.

Amazon Deep discounts on hard drives and SSDs fill pages of Amazon. For portable storage, shoppers can purchase the 1TB Toshiba Canvio USB 3.0 hard drive for $59.99 or opt for much more space with the 4TB Seagate desktop drive for $129.99. Solid-state drive shoppers can pick up a Crucial MX100 512GB SSD for $204.99.

The online retailer also has discounts as high as 70 percent on a number of SanDisk storage products, such as a 64GB flash drive for $34.99 and a 64GB MicroSD card for $24.99.
