Conservative commentator Glenn Beck cast blame Tuesday on the Black Lives Matter movement for the torturing of a white 18-year-old with mental health challenges in Chicago. The author and radio host claimed on Twitter Thursday the teen was a "disabled Trump supporter" who was attacked by members of Black Lives Matter after a video of four black suspects assaulting the young man was uploaded to Facebook Live.

As of Thursday morning, there was no information to indicate the mentally disabled school student was a Trump supporter, nor any link to the violent suspects and the Black Lives Matter movement. But that didn’t stop Beck from accusing the organization of being behind the attack during an argument on Twitter over whether President-elect Donald Trump used racism to win the election.

"You are right," Beck wrote to a Twitter user stating their opposition to racist ideologies. "Stand up with me and demand justice in Chicago for the beating of a disabled Trump supporter by BLM [Black Lives Matter."

Footage of the incident Beck was referring to showed one of the four black suspects yelling "F**k Trump!" and "F**k white people!" as they kicked, beat and cut a white victim who was reportedly held hostage by the group. The video also showed the man being forced to drink toilet water, as well as curse the president-elect as a knife was pointed toward his face.

The victim was likely taken from a northwest suburb into Chicago in a stolen vehicle, police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told reporters Wednesday, describing the video as "reprehensible."

Beck’s accusations against the Black Lives Matter organization for being behind the gruesome attack were in-line with that of the most conservative and alt-right outlets. By Wednesday night, headlines across some sites read along the lines of "Black Lives Matters Supporters Torture Trump Voter On Live Video," as well as videos uploaded by YouTube channels like "MAGA [Make America Great Again] Feed” purporting "Black Lives Matter supporters kidnap and torture white special needs Trump supporter."

Four suspects have been detained and are expected to be charged on Thursday in the apparent kidnapping and torture of the man with disabilities.
