"Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" and "Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 3 could be some of the most remarkable updates because they introduced the biggest change the hit battle royale game has ever had. Players get to experience the Verdansk '84 map and the old one will never return to the game again. With all the changes and new things in the game, fans are more excited about what devs have in store for them in Season 4.
Season 4 Release Date
"Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" and "Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 4 could launch on June 16 or June 17. The current season's Battle Pass is scheduled to end on June 15 or June 16. Unlike other games that go down for a few hours of maintenance each time a season ends, "Black Ops Cold War" and "Warzone" usually start a day after the previous season's Battle Pass ends.
Leaked Contents
Unlike "Call of Duty: Warzone" players, "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" Zombies fans will have to wait a little longer for a new map. But, rumors have it that a new Zombies map is likely launching in Season 4. In February, some fans uncovered details in the Firebase Z official trailer that could suggest the arrival of two new maps in the game.
One of the maps is the rumored Cold War location, Berlin. In contrast, the other map is reportedly set in the U.S. These locations were pointed out by YouTuber TheGamingRevolution, who claimed that right after the Aether Reactor went off, a couple of blinking lights were visible. Both locations are labeled as "Identified Outbreak Zones," seemingly suggesting that these could be the new maps that could launch in the game soon.
For "Call of Duty: Warzone" players, Raven Software is currently working on the next-generation patch for PS5 and Xbox Series X players. The hit battle royale game recently received the Nvidia DLSS support, allowing players to boost their overall gaming experience. Nothing much is known about the possible content coming to "Warzone," aside from the usual new weapons, maps, and game modes.
Fans should expect to see more of these leaks about the Season 4 contents for both "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" and "Call of Duty: Warzone" when the update approaches its mid-season.
