'The Blacklist' Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 13 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In 'Alistair Pitt'? [VIDEO]
In episode 12 of NBC's "The Blacklist" Season 3, Tom (Ryan Eggold) got a new job as a teacher — even if Red (James Spader) later saw that he lost it — adopted a dog, and promised to be a loyal husband and father to Liz (Megan Boone) and their expected baby. However, at the end of the episode Liz, a bit freaked out by Red's overprotective security measures, was calling an adoption agency. Will anything help change her mind in episode 13, "Alistair Pitt"?
According to the synopsis for episode 13, there is a new blacklister to hunt down first. Alistair Pitt, a well known crime negotiator known as the Matchmaker — what a romantic name! — is trying to unite two large, dangerous crime families. Red does not like the sound of that, so he tips the FBI task force off to shut the meeting down. Pitt will be played by guest star Tony Shalhoub, a veteran character and a three-time Emmy winner for USA's "Monk."
Meanwhile, the promo for the episode reveals that there is an even juicier bit of matchmaking afoot. Tom's ex, Gina Zanetakos (Margarita Levieva) is back in town! Gina was first introduced in the Season 1 episode named after her in which she was the target of an FBI investigation — she is a corporate terrorist after all — and was revealed to be an ex-lover of Liz's former husband.
With Gina back in the picture, will Liz and Tom's relatively happy relationship turn contentious? If so, Liz will likely be even less inclined to keep her baby. After all, Tom was one of the few pros on her pros-and-cons list, even if she did write three question marks next to his name. Plus, viewers have to wonder if Red arranged for Gina to show up to break up the happy couple. Fans already know that Red is definitely not on "Team Tom."

How will Gina's arrival affect Liz? Fans will have to wait to find out. "The Blacklist" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
