South Korean girl group Blackpink has dropped a new video, titled "Pink Venom," following which fans slammed record producer Teddy Park for making it look outdated.

Fans of the band shared their reactions on Twitter, noting it reminded them of how music videos were made 10 years ago.

"U can always count on teddy park to remind you what 2011 was like," one of the fans wrote, while another one tweeted, "Just kinda upset i got so hyped for nothing ;(( i hope we can get cool songs soon from them that stray from the curse of the teddy park formula."

Another fan jokingly claimed they can produce better music than Park, even without having any music production background.

A social media user also slammed Park's originality, saying the new song was no different from the others he had produced before.

"When Teddy Park plays the new song, and it sounds like all of the other songs," a Twitter user wrote.

One of the fans compared the new song's structure with 2019's Blackpink album, "Kill This Love."

The fan shared the new music video and wrote, "another teddy park production, simply mirrors ktl structure. the song sure is an ear worm but if i like it. LISA IS DEFINITELY THE STAND-OUT MEMBER FOR ME THIS TIME, HER HAIR LOOKS GORGEOUS ON HER."

Within 90 minutes of the music track's release, it received over 16 million views and 1.6 million likes on YouTube.

Besides Park getting slammed on Twitter, some fans also praised the three minute, 13 seconds music video on YouTube.

Blackpink was formed in 2016 with four members - Jennie Kim, Lalisa Manoban, Jisoo and Roseanne Park (also known as Rosé). Since the group was formed, Park has been with the girl band.

He produced first two albums, "Square One" and "Square Two." Both the albums featured hit music tracks like "Whistle," "Stay," "Playing With Fire" and "Boombayah."

The producer formed The Black Label company under YG Entertainment, which is a South Korean multinational entertainment agency. The girl band and the producer delivered many hits together. However, Blackpink has also collaborated with other artists and producers.
