Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds are expecting their fourth child together.

The "Gossip Girl" star, 35, surprised fans when she revealed her pregnancy and debuted her baby bump at the 10th Annual Forbes Power Women's Summit in New York City Thursday, People reported.

Lively posed on the red carpet in a sequined long-sleeved mini dress that showcased her baby bump. She completed the look with platform heels and large hoop earrings.

"I just like to create," she joked to Forbes executive vice president Moira Forbes at the event, according to E! News. "Whether that's baking or storytelling or businesses or humans, I just really like creating."

Lively and Reynolds share three daughters: James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2.

"My family is the most important thing to me, and they always have been," the "Age of Adaline" star said while speaking during "The Multi-Hyphenate: Taking the Entrepreneurial Stage" session Thursday.

Lively also opened up about the lessons she hopes to teach her kids as a working mom.

"I grew up watching a woman be everything: be a mom and also be the hardest working businesswoman I knew," she said of her mother. "So it's important for me for my kids to see that you don't have to choose one or the other. I don't need them to choose to be a businesswoman or a mom. They can be both or neither. But just for them to see that anything is possible. So it's really important for me to do that."

Her husband announced back in October 2021 that he was taking a break from making movies. Reynolds later explained that he made the decision to rest from acting in order to have more time with his children.

"The biggest thing for me, and I know you have kids as well, is that I don't want to miss this time with my kids," Reynolds said in December 2021 while speaking to LinkedIn News senior editor at large Jessi Hempel, according to People.

"I want my kids to have a pretty normal schedule. For many years when my wife Blake would shoot a film, I would not shoot a film and I would be with the kids and vice versa. So we would sort of trade-off. We never really worked at the same time. But always we were away. So the kids were away too," he explained.

Reynolds, who has been married to Lively since 2012, said that his lifestyle has become more challenging as their kids grow older. He shared that their children have a "somewhat normal" schedule now that they're in school, which he believes is important for their development.

"I love taking them to school in the morning, I love picking them up," Reynolds revealed. "I love that I have the hours in between to focus on the things that I'm really passionate about like MNTN and Maximum Effort. It is a juggling act."
