Blake Shelton proposed to Gwen Stefani with a custom-designed engagement ring that some experts are saying could have cost the country singer around half a million dollars.

The newly engaged couple revealed the stunning sparkler on their respective Instagram accounts when they shared the good news on Tuesday. A previous report said the engagement bling was “custom-designed” and that Shelton got Stefani’s dad’s before popping the question.

“Gwen’s ring appears to feature a classic, six-prong setting with a 6-9 carat solitaire diamond set on a white gold or platinum band,” Kathryn Money of Brilliant Earth told Page Six, adding that she estimates the value to be at $500,000.

However, another expert believes Stefani’s engagement band may have cost much more. Blue Nile CMO Katie Zimmerman told the outlet that the ring could be well around $700,000 to $800,000.

“Gwen’s massive new bling appears to be a round or oval cut, set in a solitaire or simple pavé platinum setting. With the center stone nearly reaching Gwen’s middle knuckle, I estimate the total weight of her engagement ring to be approximately 8-10 carats at a value of $700,000-$800,000, depending on the color and clarity of the diamonds,” Zimmerman said.

Shelton got down on one knee days before he and Stefani announced their engagement on social media, an insider said. The proposal came after five years of dating.

The couple met in 2015 on the set of “The Voice” in which both of them served as coaches.

“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!” Shelton captioned a sweet photo of him and Stefani sharing a kiss.

Shelton popped the question in Oklahoma, where he and Stefani quarantined before moving into the Los Angeles mansion they bought last year.

“They are very happy to be settled at last in their family home. Gwen wanted to be moved in for the start of the school year, even though the kids are doing school at home because of COVID-19,” an unnamed source told Us Weekly in September. “They are truly happy as a family and it’s the new beginning Gwen needed.”
