Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Rumors: ‘The Voice’ Coaches Relationship Revisited Amid Wedding Speculations

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are rumored to have gotten engaged or tied the knot. However, the couple hasn’t confirmed anything when it comes to taking their relationship to the next level.

Four years ago, Shelton spoke with Billboard shortly after his divorce from Miranda Lambert. He said that he and Stefani hit it off after realizing that they were in a similar situation. At that time, Stefani’s marriage to Gavin Rossdale just ended.

“That’s kind of how our friendship and bond started, that day. It went from that to checking in on each other once a week through email — ‘This [expletive] happened to me, what happened to you?’ — to maybe three times a week, then every day to, ‘Hey, here’s my phone number if you ever want to text.’ Next thing I know, I wake up and she’s all I care about, and I'm ­wondering if she feels the same about me,” Shelton gushed.

The country singer also said that Stefani saved his life because she understood what it was like to go through a high-profile divorce from another musician.

Months after the interview, Shelton and Stefani made their official outing as a real-life couple at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2016. Since then, rumors have been swirling that the couple is either engaged or that they have already tied the knot.

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight last year, Shelton admitted that he’s amused by all of the rumors surrounding his relationship with Stefani because it means they have a lot of concerned and loving fans.

“First of all, the rumors stuff, I'm not gonna sit here and say that it makes me mad. It’s fun. I’ve learned over the years just to take that for what it is. If I am somehow, and Gwen is somehow, newsworthy enough that they have to make up stories about us just to have something to say, then I guess that’s a good problem to have. You know, I gotta say that we couldn’t be happier, and we’ve never been doing better,” he said.

Unfortunately for Shelton and Stefani’s fans, the couple hasn’t really tied the knot just yet.
