Blake Shelton joked about the marriage rumors with Gwen Stefani while responding to a fan's question on Twitter. Over the last few months rumors have surfaced that Shelton and Stefani are thinking of taking their relationship to the next level, with some reports claiming that the 46-year-old is pregnant with twins.

"Oh haven't you seen the tabloids? I think I'm already married with twins..," Shelton wrote to a fan, who asked the "Sangria" singer to marry her.

Shelton and Stefani confirmed their relationship last November after their split from their partners — Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale. Since the two got close on the sets of "The Voice," several rumors about their relationship made the rounds.

Most recently, rumors surfaced that Shelton urged his girlfriend to avoid posting pictures of themselves on social media amid concerns that their public displays of affection might turn off their fans, InTouch Weekly reported. However, Gossip Cop debunked the magazine’s report.

“He’s asked Gwen to stop posting so many selfies of them,” a sourced told InTouch Weekly. “He just wants to keep their special moments private. It’s the first time they’ve disagreed about something.”

Meanwhile, Stefani continued to grab public attention as she wore a black sheath dress that featured panels of fabric connected by ribbons while attending friend Shelli Azoff's birthday party Friday in Los Angeles.
