Blake Shelton Jokes About Scoring Points With Gwen Stefani's Children

Blake Shelton attended the “UglyDolls” movie premiere with his girlfriend Gwen Stefani and her sons. The country singer jokingly said at the orange carpet that he managed to score some “cool points” with the kids for bringing them along.

In an interview with Extra TV at the “UglyDolls” premiere, Shelton said that he rarely gets the chance to go out with Stefani and her kids. One of the singers is usually busy with work or the children are in school, making it difficult for all of them to go out together. He added that all five of them get to go out together around four to five times in a year.

“My cool points went up with this one,” Shelton said about bringing Stefani’s children to the movie premiere.

The boys apparently are excited to see “UglyDolls,” and they talk to the country singer about scenes that even he hasn’t seen yet, ET Online reported.

Shelton apparently tweeted scenes from the movie that he either didn’t see fully or doesn’t remember. Stefani’s sons had to remind him of the scenes, and they also pointed out that the country singer shared them on social media.

Stefani’s youngest son Apollo has seen one particular scene featured in the trailer about 30 times, Shelton revealed. Apollo went to the premiere in a jean jacket and cowboy boots, and the country singer complemented the young man for his style.

Shelton leant his voice to the character of the Mayor in the film. The “God’s Country” singer described his character in the film as “super ugly,” who has “a big belly hangin’ off him.”

Stefani and Shelton have been dating since 2015. A source close to the couple told US Weekly that the “Hollaback Girl” singer is waiting to get her marriage with Gavin Rossdale annulled by Catholic Church officials before she can get married to Shelton.
