Blake Shelton 'Shocked' He's Dating Gwen Stefani; Miranda Lambert's Ex Allegedly 'Desperate' To Marry Girlfriend

Gwen Stefani, 50, and Blake Shelton, 43, continue to flaunt their affection towards each other on-screen and online. The former partners of Gavin Rossdale, 53, and Miranda Lambert, 35, respectively, have been dating for four years now. However, it turns out that the “God Gave Me You” hitmaker still could not believe that he is in a relationship with the No Doubt songstress.

In a recent “Vocal Point” podcast episode, Blake revealed to Martina McBride, 53, that he finds it “shocking” to be in a romantically linked with Gwen. The “Hell Right” singer divulged that, in the early days of their friendship, they both had a hard time forming a “meaningful bond” since his girlfriend “just had a baby” at the time. However, things changed, in 2015, when they found solace in each other arms following their respective divorces.

Blake Shelton said he and Gwen Stefani bonded over the challenges they were facing four years ago. Fortunately, things worked out between the two singers that Miranda’s former partner thought “it had to have been meant to be.” Following their splits, Blake and Gwen have become closer to each other, with their chemistry being apparent whenever they are seen on “The Voice.”

Meanwhile, there have been reports saying that Blake is getting “upset” about Gwen delaying their alleged wedding. National Enquirer claimed that the “Boys ‘Round Here” hitmaker is “desperate” to settle down with the “Hollaback Girl” singer. The entertainment news outlet reported that Gwen is still waiting for her annulment with Gavin to be finalized before she, finally, ties the knot with Blake.

“He and Gwen have been solid as a couple for four years now and he’s desperate to walk her down the aisle, but she says they have to wait until she can get permission to marry in the church,” an unnamed source told the tabloid. “He has a dream wedding planned, but is bummed out that it keeps getting pushed back,” it added.

While it is possible that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are considering to get married now, it should be noted that the pair is not rushing to take their relationship to the next level. In fact, an Entertainment Tonight source, previously, claimed that the lovebirds felt that they are “soulmates” and they do not need a ring or a wedding at the moment.

In August, the outlet revealed that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani bought a house together in Los Angeles. The couple is said to be renting a place temporarily since their brand new abode is still under renovation. Gwen’s current home, which she bought with Gavin in 2006, is currently in escrow with a $25 million price tag.
