‘Blindspot’ Season 3 Spoilers: Chad Donella Recurs As Zapata’s Boss Jake Keaton
“Blindspot” Season 3 will continue to feature Chad Donella’s character, Jake Keaton, in multiple episodes of the hit NBC series.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Zapata (Audrey Esparza), who is now working as a member of the CIA, will be working closely with the deputy director. And since his focus is with the CIA, he will continue to become an unreliable ally for the FBI. This will cause some problems between him and Zapata, who used to work with Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander).
Additionally, Jake also some hidden agenda that will be unveiled in the upcoming episodes of the series. By the looks of it, the character will be walking the line between helping and hurting others for the sake of his interests.
Meanwhile, “Blindspot” Season 3 will continue to shed light on Jane and her now colored and digitalized tattoos. While speaking with TV Line, executive producer Martin Gero hinted on the possibility that Roman (Luke Mitchell), Jane’s brother, lit up his sister’s inks.
“It would be fair to guess that Roman is behind it, but it’s not about Sandstorm. It’s not about taking over the American government. It’s a whole new thing now,” he said.
During Gero’s September interview, he also reminded fans of “Blindspot” that Roman is the big bad in Season 3, which means that he will be featured in most of the episodes.
“He’s our main bad guy, and first and foremost, he’s really hurt. Jane is the closest person to him in the world, and she chose Weller and the FBI over him. He’s been hurting about that. This isn’t the only reason for the tattoos, but there’s certainly a punitive part of the tattoos where he’s trying to imprison Jane by them in many ways,” he explained.”
In the teaser released by the network, Jane and Roman reunite in Rome. He calls his sister, and she is surprised that Roman is there. Jane tracks Roman, but will be unsuccessful so she asks for Weller’s help. In the clip, Weller risks his life to find the big bad.
“Blindspot” Season 3 will premiere on NBC on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. EDT.
