Bobbi Kristina Brown Allegedly 'Depressed And Upset' Before Hospitalization, Brown Family Attorney 'Investigating' Incident
Bobbi Kristina Brown is still being hospitalized after being found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 30. According to her father Bobby Brown’s attorney, how she got there is unclear. "We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina," attorney Christopher Brown told CNN.
Brown, the 21-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, has been moved to Emory Hospital after spending two days at North Fulton Hospital. She is still in a medically-induced coma, and Brown’s brain function cannot be checked until she awakes, CNN reports. The circumstances leading up to the incident is unknown, but a source told Us Weekly that Brown was allegedly “depressed and upset” just before she was hospitalized.
Ahead of Brown's hospitalization, the three-year anniversary of her mother’s death was less than two weeks away. Houston was found dead in the bathtub of a California hotel room on Feb. 11, 2012. She drowned, but officials said heart disease and cocaine also contributed to her death. Fans knew that Brown was thinking about Houston before her hospitalization. She posted a tribute to her mother on Twitter:
“Whitney’s death hit her harder than anyone will ever know,” a source told Us Weekly. However, it wasn’t just her mother’s death that caused her pain. Her “husband” Nick Gordon, 25, allegedly moved out of their shared home earlier that week on Jan. 23. Brown was supposedly very upset after he left.
The fight was apparently loud enough for someone to call the police. Police visited their formerly shared Atlanta on Jan. 23 after receiving a call about a fight, “but nobody answered the door and officers found no evidence of an altercation,” CNN reports. The scuffle may or may not be why Gordon is reportedly not allowed to visit Brown in the hospital.
