Bobbi Kristina Brown Furious Over Whitney Houston Casket Photo Leak: Report

Bobbi Kristina Brown is said to be furious that the National Enquirer leaked a photo of her mother, Whitney Houston, in her open casket, according to Contact Music.

Whitney Houston's casket photo was reportedly sold to the tabloid for six figures. The National Enquirer has not revealed who sold the photo, but the publisher has called the casket photo beautiful.

The casket photo of Houston showed the singer in her favorite purple dress and she was reportedly wearing gold slippers on her feet. The National Enquirer also claimed that Houston was buried in $500,000 worth of jewelry.

I thought it was beautiful, National Enquirer publisher Mary Beth Wright told FoxNews.com of the photograph that didn't bear credit.

Speculations are that Bobby Brown's sister, Tina, leaked the photo of Houston in her casket to the tabloid. However, the National Enquirer has remained mum. Moreover, the Newark, N.J. funeral home that dealt with the singer's funeral arrangements has told the media that it has received threats and hateful e-mails since the photo was shown on the National Enquirer's front page.

Carolyn Whigham, owner of Whigham Funeral Home, has said she has known the Houston family for years. During a news conference last week, Whigham denied that her place of business leaked the photos, but said only three people has access to Houston's body.

She also said Houston's body was heavily guarded by security chosen by the family.

We are being innocently accused, Whigham said, as reported by NBC New York. I want to clear my name, I want to clear my funeral home... I want to defend my character and my name.

Whigham told the media that the photo was taken Friday, a day before Houston's funeral service was held. The funeral home owner didn't reveal how she arrived at that information. She did say however, that she fears for her safety and her family.

While the uncertainty remains as to who leaked the Houston casket photo, many are hoping that Bobbi Kristina will reveal the culprit during her upcoming interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Bobbi Kristina will be joined by Houston's brother Gary and his wife Patricia on the episode set to air March 11.

Houston was found dead in her hotel room bathtub at the Beverly Hilton in California. She was 48 and the cause of death has not yet been determined.

Bobbi Kristina is Houston's only child with singer Bobby Brown. She turned 19 on March 4.

Winfrey was invited to Houston's funeral last month.
