Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Bobby Brown Lost Hope After Chicago Experts Gave Up On Daughter
Bobby Brown flew his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown to Chicago to see experts before she was transferred to a hospice care facility in Georgia, according to reports.
Bobbi Kristina was reportedly medically evacuated on a private plane to Chicago’s Northwestern University where experts in brain trauma examined the aspiring actress. Bobby Brown took the decision of taking Bobbi Kristina off life support after experts concluded that nothing could be done to save her, Radar Online reported.
Bobbi Kristina has been surrounded by family since she was moved to Peachtree Christian Hospice last week. The Browns and the Houstons have reportedly set aside their feud, which began after Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized after being found face-down in a bathtub at her Atlanta home on Jan. 31. The two families have reportedly lost hope for the aspiring actress’ recovery as her condition continues to deteriorate despite being offered the best medical care at several facilities.
A criminal investigation is ongoing in Bobbi Kristina’s case after police found injury marks on her body. Prosecutors are also reportedly preparing a potential murder case against her boyfriend Nick Gordon.
A lawsuit was filed against Gordon by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, Bedelia C. Hargrove, alleging that he abused his girlfriend and stole thousands from her bank account. The lawsuit reportedly demands “punitive damages” of at least $40 million on four counts of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and conversion.
Gordon has not been allowed to see Bobbi Kristina at the hospital after her family suspected him of foul play.
"He feels -- and we all feel -- like Nick has been a scapegoat in this case," Gordon’s relative told People magazine. "It's scary for him, because he hasn't done anything wrong. He is completely innocent.
"He has always cooperated with police, and he has nothing to hide," the relative reportedly said. "Anyone who looks at the facts would see that."
Meanwhile, as hope for Bobbi Kristina’s recovery fades, her cousin Jerod Brown continued to look for a miracle.
“Remember you all, you will NEVER witness miracles if you don't believe in them! C'MON YALL IM NOT ASKING FOR PRAYERS RIGHT NOW , IM ASKING FOR YOU ALL TO JUST BELIEVE!!! BELIEVE IN MIRACLES,” he wrote on his Facebook account over the weekend.
In another post, Jerod posted some messages he had exchanged with Bobbi Kristina before she was hospitalized. “I look at this message from time to time Krissi and will continue to be an inspiration to you and many others. I love you always baby girl,” he wrote.
