Bobbi Kristina Brown’s cousin Jerod Brown, in a recent Facebook post, wrote about his relationship with the 22-year-old aspiring actress, and about his uncle Bobby Brown’s unwillingness to support his “#Pray4BK” campaign. Bobbi Kristina has not responded to treatments, nearly five months after she was found unconscious in a bathtub at her Atlanta home.

“My love for my family means a great deal to me. BK (Bobbi Kristina) and I always had a loving relationship and A friendship that some just can't wrap their heads around. BK has the kind of heart that the world needs around you know! I've only known kindness from her just like her father, she would give the shirt off of her back to help anyone in need, there has never been a selfish bone in her body,” Jerod wrote, in the post.

“My sweet, kind-spoken cousin has a heart of gold, & to know her is truly to love her. My relationship with Krissi only fuels me to continue to hold out hope that she will come all the way back to us. My efforts to help without ceasing will remain genuine & anyone with a willing heart to pray a prayer of healing for BK, please do.”

Jerod, who has announced plans for a global fundraising tour and said that he would help Bobby Brown with Bobbi Kristina's expensive medical treatment, also stated that he would continue his efforts even if his uncle does not support his cause.

“May my uncle Bobby continue to be the man I've always known him to be and may we all pray for him to be strong during the time of his crisis. However, I am not (by no means) looking for my uncle Bobbys support or permission to continue the ‪#‎PrayForBK Campaign or am I asking for his blessing,” Jerod wrote.

“This is somehing I, myself felt the need to do and will continue to bring awareness to. The day she walks out will be the day you wont have to deal with me anymore. You can denounce me in front of the world a million times, you can call my works sideshows, you can continue to bring attention to the fact I was adopted out of the family when I was 6months old so i do have a hyphenated last name (Brown-Carter). Still the facts remain, I'm family & if it were you in Krissi's shoes I would gather the world for prayer just as I did for her.”

Last week, Bobby Brown released a statement through his lawyers clearing rumors regarding Bobbi Kristina’s medical condition, stating that he is not in any way linked to the prayer tour by Jerod, who also goes by the name Y.F. Kennedy. In the statement, his legal team said that Bobbi Kristina’s father “does not support” the campaign.

Bobby Brown reportedly also said that he and Pat Houston are making decisions about Bobbi Kristina’s treatment.

“Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina’s medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us. Whoever had a hand in causing my daughter’s injuries needs to be brought to justice,” the recording artist said, in the statement.

The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was hospitalized after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta home on Jan. 31, following which she was placed in a medically induced coma. In mid-March, she was admitted to a rehabilitation center where she is currently undergoing treatment.
