Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Is Jerod Brown's Critical Post Aimed At The Houston Family?
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s cousin Jerod Brown posted an emotional message on his Facebook account on Sunday just days after he slammed Cissy Houston over the 22-year-old’s condition. The feud between the Browns and Houstons has gone on since Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta home on Jan. 31.
“You could have known an individual for 10 years plus and come to find out you really don't know them,” Jerod wrote on his Facebook account. However, it was unclear if the rapper’s comment was aimed at the Houston family.
Jerod, who has openly accused the Houston family for Bobbi Kristina’s medical condition, had some harsh words for Cissy on social media last week, even hinting at some foul play in Whitney Houston's death.
“Cissy: So now the blame of auntie Whitney is my uncle Bobby? No disrespect grandma Cissy, instead of you pointing fingers to a man that gave as much of himself as she did, a love neither one of us can digest, embrace, create, understand, or survive through, try pointing that same finger to find out what truly happen to auntie Whitney. Your daughter,” Jerod wrote.
He also defended Bobby Brown, stating that his uncle was doing everything possible to keep his daughter alive.
Bobbi Kristina, who has now spent over three months under medical treatment, remains unresponsive. She was removed from life support last month but there has been no improvement in her condition since then.
Earlier this month, Cissy, a soul and gospel singer, told Entertainment Tonight that Bobbi Kristina wasn’t improving and there wasn’t much that the family could do to help her.
“She's the same, she's not progressing at all,” she said. “She's not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I'm ready for her ... I have nothing to do with that. That's His job. It's His territory, you know? And I understand it.”
Bobbi Kristina is currently at the DeKalb Medical facility in Atlanta where she was moved after spending weeks at Emory University Hospital. Some reports claimed that she may soon be moved from the rehab facility to her home -- in suburban Roswell, Georgia-- which she shared with her boyfriend Nick Gordon. However, there was reportedly no confirmation about the news from either the Houstons or the Browns.
On May 8, a court granted Bobbi Kristina's co-guardianship to Bobby Brown and her aunt Pat Houston, but her father will not have access to the $20 million estate that Bobbi Kristina inherited from her late mother.
