Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon Was ‘So Out Of Control’ After Bathtub Accident, Friend Says
More allegations have emerged from the day Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home. Boyfriend Nick Gordon was “out of control” after Brown did not regain consciousness Jan. 31, one of her friends told Radar Online in an exclusive report Thursday.
Brown’s neighbor, Debra Reis Brooks, said she talked to Gordon and Max Lomas -- the friend who called 911 -- the day of the bathtub accident. She heard noises and when she went outside to see what the commotion was about, police soon asked for her assistance. “Nick was so out of control and the police came up to me and said, ‘Would you take him in?’ because they wanted to bring [Bobbi Kristina] out in a stretcher and didn’t want him to see her,” Brooks told Radar Online.
Lomas was afraid he would be detained by authorities. “Max and [Nick] then go in the corner to talk, police would talk to them, then they’d go to the corner,” she said. “Max was very scared and he kept saying, ‘I can’t get arrested,'” Brooks told the publication. “He was very worried.”
Gordon, 25, has not been allowed to see Brown, 22, since she was admitted to the hospital. He’s made public pleas to see his girlfriend, but her family will not allow it. Gordon has even taken to begging to try to see Brown. He “has respected to the families’ wishes” for three months, but wants to see her, a statement released to Us Weekly by his lawyer said. “He has asked through counsel many times privately and now asks both the Browns and the Houstons, please let him see her.”
Neither the Browns nor the Houstons responded to his pleas, but it could be because they’re in a feud of their own. Brown’s cousin, Jerod Brown, issued a statement after grandmother Cissy Houston essentially said there wasn’t much hope and that Bobbi Kristina was in God’s hands. “She's not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I'm ready for her ... I have nothing to do with that. That's his job. It's his territory, you know? And I understand it,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
Jerod then slammed the gospel singer on Facebook. "You gave up along time ago," he wrote. "We, the Browns are built on true faith, and the results are remarkable.”
