Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Tyler Perry Photographed At Hospice Care Facility
Actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry was photographed Sunday visiting Bobbi Kristina Brown at the Georgia hospice facility she’s currently at. The 22-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and late singer Whitney Houston has been surrounded by family since she was moved to Peachtree Christian Hospice last week.
Perry, a longtime friend of the Houston family, has visited Bobbi Kristina prior to her hospice transfer. She has been hospitalized since being found unconscious and unresponsive in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home on Jan. 31. Bobbi Kristina was placed in a medically induced coma and breathing with the help of a ventilator. In March the aspiring singer was moved to a rehab facility for long term care. However, on June 24 her condition worsened and her family transferred her to Peachtree Hospice Care in Duluth, Georgia.
“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, [her] condition has continued to deteriorate,” Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Pat Houston, said in a statement. “As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”
TMZ reports that the Browns and Houstons gathered outside the hospice facility over the weekend to keep vigil for Bobbi Kristina. Family members remain hopeful for a miracle.
