Bobby Brown Releases Statement on Whitney Houston Death, Bobbi Kristina Breakdown

Bobby Brown released a statement Monday night about the well-being of his family after the death of ex-wife Whitney Houston.

My daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Bobby Brown said in a statement, released to People magazine, about Bobbi Kristina. She has been released and is presently with my family including her siblings.

Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her, said Brown. However we will get through this tragedy as a family.

Brown rushed to daughter Bobbi Kristina's side after the young girl suffered a complete breakdown at the news of her mother's death.

Bobbi Kristina was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Sunday. According to TMZ sources, the 18-year-old was taken out of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where her mother died, on a stretcher.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that police and fire responded officials responded to a 911 call regarding a medical emergency, but would not give any details. According to TMZ, the medical emergency was related to Whitney Houston's daughter. She was taken away at around 10:30 a.m. People magazine reported that Bobbi Kristina had a complete breakdown.

Whitney Houston died at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday. Bobbi Kristina was reportedly blocked from identifying her mother's body. She arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and attempted to enter the room where her mother had died several hours earlier, TMZ reported, but cops told her no one was allowed in. An angry shouting match ensued.

According to TMZ, Bobbi Kristina screamed, cursed and demanded to see her mother. [Bobbi Kristina] was screaming, 'What's wrong with her? What's wrong with her?, said a source, according to People magazine.

Singer Kim Burrell told CNN on Sunday afternoon that as to be expected, the teen was overwhelmed.

It's her mother, Burrell said. She knows how much her mother meant to the world. And Bobbi Kristina has a huge heart, just like her mother.

Bobby Brown was in the middle of touring with his group New Edition when he heard the news of ex-wife Whitney Houston's death. He sobbed on stage and said I love you, Whitney, before ending his tour and leaving to meet with his daughter in Los Angeles.
