‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Bill Reassures Brooke She Made The Right Choice

She was given the option of marrying either the man she had decades of history with or the man who has become a big part of her love story in the last few years. Now that Brooke has finally decided and actually married Bill, she will express confidence in her choice on the Monday, May 22 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been torn between Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Bill (Don Diamont) for a long time, and has had several aborted attempts at wedded bliss with each over the last few years. In the last few months alone, one wedding to Bill was canceled after Ridge turned up to express his love for Brooke, and a wedding to Ridge was also canceled in Australia, after Brooke saw him and Quinn (Rena Sofer) kissing on a beach. Despite her continually claiming she was devoted to a marriage with Bill, Ridge refused to give up on the CBS soap, even going to her on her wedding day and giving her an option to be with him. Brooke stuck to her initial plan however and went through with marrying Bill.

Now, she and her new husband are on their way to their honeymoon together, and Brooke will feel confident that she has made the right decision. However, she’ll receive even more assurance that she chose the right man when Bill takes her into his arms and reveals to her how he felt when he saw her walk into his home for the wedding.

“When you stepped into that archway, I’ve never seen anything more beautiful,” he says in a preview clip. “You absolutely took my breath away.”

However, while Brooke is happy with her decision, the fact that she did wind up choosing Bill, and this time actually married him, isn’t sitting so well with some of the people back home. Not only is Ridge devastated because he has truly lost his chance with Brooke this time, but their son, R.J. (Anthony Turpel) is also having a difficult time coping with what happened, since he was sure his parents would eventually get back together once again.

“How’s it settling with you?” Coco (Courtney Grosbeck) asks him in the clip.

“I’m disappointed,” he admits. “I’m not going to lie. I just wanted us to be together.”

R.J. will be disappointed mostly because a part of him genuinely thought his parents would get back together, despite their wedding being called off. Though it had seemed like things were broken between them again, Brooke has had a history of attempts at marrying Bill, and all have failed before the two were able to recite their vows and make things official. Knowing that this time, his mother did actually Bill is even more difficult for R.J. to cope with than it was to learn that she and Ridge had called off their wedding.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
